The "Massive Bank Account" MBA: Why Practical Skills Always Beat Degrees & Theoretical Knowledge
Let’s look at the KPIs of the modern education system.
If a university degree were a financial product sold on the open market, would you buy it based on its current ROI? (ROI = Return on Investment)
You invest 3 to 5 years of Time or even more!(your most valuable and scarcest asset!) and tens of thousands in capital! In return, you receive a piece of paper that grants you entry into the lower levels of a corporate hierarchy.
As a professional who has hired teams and managed end-to-end strategies, I have seen thousands of CVs.
I have seen MBAs from prestigious universities. I have seen PhDs..
but some of the most richest humans on earth often have dropped out from university to pursue his own business ventures.
Then when I attended an event where the speaker asked the following question in a room of 1000+ people:
"How many of you are financially free because of their degree?"
Nobody raised his hand!
And I realized that I have asked myself the same question for multiple years..
and always came to the same conclusions and data points to an uncomfortable truth to this question:
Almost none!
But still I get measured by my titles instead of my track records & roles.
And still get surprised and jealous glances by colleagues / others considering me then to be "crazy".
Usually it is considered "crazy" to let someone drive a car without any practical experience!
and just by passing the "theory exam"..
But in “business life” we accept recently graduated employees to guide teams
without any valuable previous results and performances and overlook it.
I really cant ignore that anymore and therefore I will continue my journey on my own to pursue my own business ventures and legacy!
University Skills vs. Real Life Skills
The problem isn't that universities don't teach. The problem is what they teach.
They are factories designed to produce compliant workers, not sovereign creators.
Especially when focused on fast evolving areas (e.g. IT) their teachings are way too old
and outdated to compete with the “real world practical experts”.
There is a massive disconnect between the syllabus and the street.
University Skills: Focus on memorization, compliance, following the syllabus, and avoiding failure at all costs. The goal is to get the grade.
Real Life Skills: Focus on sales, negotiation, emotional intelligence, and risk management. The goal is to get the result.
In the corporate world, we call this a "skills gap".
And it can rarely be covered with multiple degrees or MBAs.
But in your personal life, there is instead a wealth gap and life-time gap.
University teaches you how to manage a business that belongs to someone else!
but not your finances and/or your time.
Real Life Skills teach you how to own and nurture YOUR REAL ASSETS!
The Only MBA That Is Valuable in Real Life
I have encountered many people with a "Master of Business Administration" etc.
Paradoxically, many of them are excellent at administration but terrible at business.
They can read a balance sheet, but they cannot build one for themselves.
In my journey, I realized there is only one MBA that commands respect in the real world.
It is the "Massive Bank Account" MBA.
This degree isn't awarded by a professor; it is awarded by the market.
It doesn't come with a graduation ceremony; it comes with Ultimate Freedom.
The Curriculum of the "Massive Bank Account" MBA:
If you want this degree, you need to stop studying "theory" and start studying "production":
Financial Literacy: Understanding the difference between an asset
(puts money in your pocket) and a liability (takes money out).Tax Optimization: Learning that it’s not about what you make, but what you keep. (More on this when we discuss location independence).
Market Psychology: The ability to control your emotions when a political decision
or a candle chart turns red.Sales: The ability to transfer your belief and ideas to another person.
"The More You Pay! The More You Pay Attention!"
This is a fundamental rule of human psychology and wealth creation.
Why is free advice often ignored?
Why do people watch endless YouTube videos on "How to Trade" but never make a profit?
Because they have no skin in the game.
"The more you pay! The more you pay attention!"
If I gave you a winning trading algorithm for free today, you would try it once, lose a trade, get bored, and quit. You would treat it like a toy!
However, if you paid $10,000 for access to a mentorship or a mastermind, your brain would switch
into "High-Performance Mode". You would study the materials.
You would respect the risk. You would execute with precision because you are invested!
Value is often linked to commitment!
When you invest in your education whether it's a seminar, a coach, or a tool..
you are not just buying information. You are buying your own attention!
Conclusion: Audit Your Education
I am not telling you to burn your diploma. I am telling you to recognize it for what it is:
a generic certification for the old economy (still efficient for "old positions & roles" e.g. Doctor, Lawyer, etc.)
But if you want the "Massive Bank Account," you need to start a "new semester" today! - everyday!!
Stop optimizing your CV
Start optimizing your Portfolio!
Stop looking for a better boss
Start looking for better skills!
The world is shifting to AI, Blockchain, Crypto, Web3 and Decentralized Finance.
But your university professor isn't going to teach you this.
You have to go out and take it and learn it by yourself or from the “Real World Experts”!
